SERVES 4 :

1 onion, peeled and halved

2 garlic cloves

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 medium red capsicum, diced

4 Tbsp tomato paste

500 g beef mince

400 g can crushed tomatoes

1 can red kidney beans

.5 tsp smoked paprika

.5 tsp sweet paprika

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp ground coriander

.5 tsp dried oregano

.5 tsp chilli powder

wraps, tacos, corn chips to serve


Chilli Beef Mince

  • 1- Add garlic and onion. Use PULSE button to chop to your liking. Scrape down sides, repeat if required.
  • 2- Add oil, capsicum and tomato paste. Set to EXPERT 3min/speed 3/110C.
  • 3- Add mince. 5min/speed 2A/110C
  • 4- Add tomatoes, spices & half cup liquid from kidney beans. 20min/2A/110C.
  • 5- Stir through kidney beans & enjoy!

CHEF’S TIP :

This mince recipe can be used with tacos, nachos, wraps or anything else you would like. Serve with cheese, sour cream, diced tomatoes. Try with chilli guacamole, recipe under APPETISERS.
