50 g bread cut into small pieces

5 g milk

6 sprigs fresh curly parsley

2 cloves garlic

500 g beef mince

2 eggs

salt and pepper

2 cloves garlic

1 small brown onion, peeled and halved

2 Tbsp olive oil

0.5 cup white wine (optional)

680 g bottle passata

fresh oregano

salt and pepper


  • 1- Soak bread in milk
  • 2- In the stainless-steel bowl, add parsley and garlic. Use PULSE button (on any mode) to chop.
  • 3- Add beef mince, soaked bread (squeeze out excess milk), eggs, salt and pepper. On EXPERT mode, press AUTO. Gradually increase the speed until youre happy with how it looks.
  • 4- Form mixture into balls and place on internal steaming basket. Stacking them on top of each other is fine.

Tomato Sauce

  • 1- Place onion and garlic in stainless steel bowl. PULSE until chopped to your desired consistency.
  • 2- Add olive oil. Set to 3 mins, speed 3, 100C
  • 3- When finished, add passata, white wine, oregano, salt and pepper.
  • 4- Place steaming basket with meatballs into the stainless steel bowl. EXPERT 15mins, speed 3, 120C.
  • 5- A few minutes in, you will see the tomato sauce slowly coming through the steaming basket
  • 6- When the program finishes, take a meatball and check if cooked through.
  • 7- Add to tomato sauce in bowl and stir gently
  • 8- Serve on pasta, zoodles, mashed potatoes, or rice.
