SERVES 4 :

500 g short pasta, fusilli or penne

1 long red chilli

3 garlic cloves

4 anchovy fillets

1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

425 g tuna chunks in oil, trained

400 g whole peeled tinned tomatoes

2 Tbsp baby capers, rinsed and drained

1 handful pitted kalamata olives

parsley to serve

lemon zest


  • 1- Cook pasta in a separate pot. Whilst the pasta is cooking, prepare the puttanesca sauce.
  • 2- Roughly chop the chilli, anchovies and garlic and place in the stainless steel bowl together with the tablespoon of olive oil and cook for 2 minutes/2A /120C
  • 3- Add tomato sauce, capers, olives and tuna, salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes/2A /120C
  • 4- Serve the pasta with the sauce, parsley, lemon zest and olive oil
